This cute little fellow's name is Dante. His owner told me that he was a very talka tive little guy and that he hums all the time. While I was taking his picture, he just sat there, contentedly talking to the alpacas around him, occasionally, I'd hear one across the aisle or from a nearby pen answer him; I wonder what theyr'e saying:
That is how an alpaca talks, they hum like they have a little kazzoo in their mouths. I think it is by far their most charming and endearing characteristic.
