Jen, the beautiful young Mom, is doing quite well, recovering nicely after the emergency c-section.
Our trip to visit the new baby went well, though it was a VERY long drive. Elias was anxious to get to meet her, so he pushed on and we made the 12 hour drive in one day. On the way back, we stopped half-way and took it easy. It's sad to think that the next time we see her, little Bella will be walking, maybe even talking. At least it's not like in pioneer days where families this far apart would probably never see each other again!

She is so cute! I understand about distance. My mother-in-law is coming for Thanksgiving from Hawaii (to Oregon) and she has only seen Sabrina once when she was 4 months old.
