Fuzzy Friday

We've had such a fun week! Mr. Mac decided to take a little trip and help out at his church's youth camp. So this last week, we've been goat-sitting (and chicken, dog, and donkey). It added a lot of extra busy-ness to the end of the day, trying to get out there as soon as possible so the goats could be milked as close to their regular time as possible. It was very much worth the effort, though. Elias and I both really enjoy being around animals and seeing how well we'd fit into a country lifestyle. Despite having much to do at home plus grocery shopping, each day neither of us wanted to go. .....Sigh.....Someday!

While out at the farm, I snapped a few picture of the critters to give you all an update. Here is Clara's doeling, Millie:

And Hazel's boy, Buck:

They're so pretty and sleek at this age and as agile as a deer. The other babies born this last year have all gone on to new homes, as well as the extra adults. Mr. Mac now has just 4: Hazel and Clara, who combined are giving about a gallon of milk a day, and the the two young'uns above.

We also had a surprise from Number One who is Mr. Mac's favorite hen: 4 fluffy new chicks!

Enjoy your weekend!
