Meet Hank, He is a very friendly donkey. So friendly, in fact, that he can be a bit of a nuisance. Hank is Mr. Mac's most resent donkey acquisition. His former owner just left him out in a field for years. Hank's hooves were never looked after during that time and grew out so long that they folded under his weight. The poor guy could barely walk on those terribly misshapen hooves! When the man realized how bad things has gotten, he gave Hank to Mr. Mac. It took several weeks of trimming a bit at a time, but now he's as sound as ever.
This video was taken the day Hazel's baby was born. If you remember, I mentioned how interested the donkeys were with the new little guy. They made it hard to get a decent picture, but it was so sweet we couldn't be angry with them.
